1904: Established as a “general Partnership” in Nuremberg as the "Deutsch-Amerikanische Handelsgesellschaft A. & E. Scharrer. Already at that time the business purpose was defined as a partnership established for the
"wholesale of brewery machinery, manufacturing and planning of brewery equipment, primarily as an independent trader, and also on a commission basis"

1970: Relocation of the headquarters to Hamburg

1972: Converted into a limited company and changed the name to "Deutsch-Amerikanische Handelsgesellschaft für Getränkeindustrie mbH".
The business purpose was adapted to include the "purchase, sale and distribution of commodity products, machinery and equipment for the brewing and beverage industry at home and abroad ..."

2004: Merger with "Brauhaase International Management GmbH” in Hamburg

2009: Re-established as the „Deutsch-Amerikanische Handelsgesellschaft mbH“ in Hamburg
